Beam me up, Scotty, I wanna sing to you!
William Shatner began his career in such a dignified way: He was a Shakespearean actor before gaining universal stardom as Captain James Kirk in the original TV series Star Trek. After Star Trek, Shatner's career was extended by the smash movies based on that show.
For some reason, after he had already achieved eternal fame, Shatner decided to record his own versions of classic rock tunes. He also managed to mangle a Sinatra classic or two along the way. The results were hysterical, as you can see for yourself in these videos. I have to think that he knows this is all bizarrely funny and he did it with a wink.
